Livery

Littleton Manor equestrian is proud to partner Kate Lukas Eventing. Kate Lukas runs a 28 box yard on site with full, schooling, sale and competition livery options available.

Kate runs a string of horses from intro to advanced and in always looking for other quality horses to join the team and to involve people with the sport of eventing. Not only does the yard have access to all on site facilities but also a super range of local competition centres and excellent off road hacking locally.

The care and individual attention that each horse receives at Littleton manor is fantastic, each horse is on an individual yet strict routine which all horses young and old seem to thrive on. The care is made especially good by the amazing staff that are always willing to help, are fun and extremely friendly. With varied livery plans to suit all you and your horses needs you are guaranteed to receive the care and attention you want. The facilities at Littleton are the best I have ever experienced at a livery yard. Extensive turn out and horse walker ensure the horses are able to go out all year round and the walker helps with their fitness. The 8 furlong gallops are an added bonus and fantastic for fitness work!

Event Rider and Livery with Kate Lukas Eventing, May 2009.

Dolly keeps her horse Stan at livery with Kate Lukas. I couldn't think of a better person to trust with Stan than Kate - or a better place for him than Littleton. Living in a professional event yard, Stan is looked after by the most fantastic and knowledgeable team as well as a vet, osteopath and farrier all hand-picked by Kate for her competition horses. This means he gets the best possible care and attention. We also benefit from Kate's massive extended network of contacts for other things like tack and riding kit and access to the first class facilities at Littleton. Kate's yard is a really friendly place too, where we and Stan feel very much at home. Nothing is too much trouble for Kate and the Littleton team - for example taking me and Stan cross country schooling or providing me and my husband Sebastian transport to Hunt meets.

Competition horse ownership at Kate Lukas Eventing ('KLE') has been an unparalleled rewarding experience. My partner and I have two competition horses with KLE that Kate competes on our behalf. Last fall we accompanied Kate and her team to Varsseveld Holland to support 'Cassus', one of our horses, as Kate guided him to successfully completed his first CIC* horse trial. When we cannot attend competitions we receive videos and/or even live calls on the day of the competition with blow-by-blow commentary. In August 2007 our horse was featured in 3 pages spread on Eventing magazine. It is a social hobby and often we invite along friends to join us for the day out; we look forward to walking the cross country course with Kate pre-competition. The other owners are exceptionally friendly and we often coordinate to meet at the horse trial to support Kate. Outside of the horse trails we socialize through the many balls and drinks parties owners are invited to. Our horsese have access to world class remedial farriery, physiotherapy, veterinariany, healing and traininers that Kate partners with to give the horse their best opportunity to perform. On the financial side of the partnership Kate is fair with pricing and involves us at the right times and probably most importantly is reasonable and open to discuss financial matters. Kate and her team are professional, flexible, patient and fun. The yard is stunning and impeccably kept with new improvements always in the pipeline. We are fortunate to have our horses in the care of Kate and her team.
