Endurance GB’s World Class Elite Squad has chosen LMEQ as the venue for its non-competitive ride training and assessments in the build up to the European Open Endurance Championship in France, September 2011, and the World Endurance Championship in the UK, 2012. The Squad’s management team was attracted to LMEQ as a training venue with its ease of access from the M25, the outdoor arenas and a lunge pen, all-weather gallops, cross-country water complex (used for river crossing practice), easy access to bridleway loops, a range of surfaces for crewing practice and veterinary inspections, and overnight stabling and camping. Chef d’Équipe Annabelle Scofield says 'It is difficult to find venues that cater for our range of needs for horse, rider and crew training, veterinary, farriery and osteopathic assessments, and where the international team selectors can freely observe the Squad. LMEQ ticks all the boxes.'
